New Beans

Ther new sea beans are beginning to show up on Texas beaches.

This past weekend was Spring Break and there was quite a crowd on the beach. The motor grader was working to smooth out the sand on the stretch up through Three Mile so we went to the pedestrian section near Jetty Park.

Tracy found her first hamburger bean!

This shoe leaves the impression that one truely can spend too much time at the beach.

These are the keepers: Two sea coconuts, two water hickorys, two brown hamburgers, one starnut palm and one hog plum. There were several tropical almonds as well but I have collected enough of them for now.

I also picked up this item which I believe to be a piece of fossilized bone. I'm going to find out for sure but for now that's my story and I'm sticking to it!
